Definitely a must see island in the cool municipality of Jasaan (Misamis Oriental), Agutayan Island is a 3 hectare marine sanctuary for giant clams locally called as "Taclobo." This giant calm breeding project is in partnership of Xavier University and the local government.

The island has 5000 sq meters of fine white sand.

Aside from amazing marine life, clear water is perfect for swimming, diving and snorkeling.

From Cagayan de Oro city, it is just less than an hour jeepney or bus to Jasaan port (50.00Php) where you and your group can avail boats to take you to the island. Boat-fare ranges from Php 1,000-3,000 depending on its capacity! No worries for those who are afraid of the water, your safety are their primary service...
