Getting into the Blue Reef...

As the summer heat of 2009 increases, the more reason you'll definitely go to somewhere cool and has water. Just a 30 minute ride from Cebu City, along the coastline of Mactan Island lays a simple getaway...

...as blue as the sky and clear as crystal has this place can offer you. Clean water and has good amenities for budget constraint back-packers like me!

Blue Reef is one of the known beaches in Cebu since its affordable and can be easily accessible to all.

What I love about this place is that it has clear waters, two twin slides, a make-belief cave where you can hide and do some naughty stuff (hahaha), and white sand beach front. Although there are some rough corral-rocks around, it seems like it we properly placed to ornament the place with simplicity. They have the regular  beach amenities and cottages for the family and friends to hang-out. Some boats are also available for tourist to rent and paddle around the area.
