One of the sights to see in the City of Golden Friendship is this Stargate Resort. It is conveniently located just 5 kilometer from city proper.

So what's in store for you in this place. Basically, the place has a breath taking view of Cagayan de Oro river!

How get here! This place is located at Taguanao, Cagayan de Oro City. You can either take a Habal-Habal ride, local motorcycle ride that will cost you around 50-100 pesos per ride. You may also take a taxi that will also cost you around 100 pesos only.

You'll not be able to missed this resort for they are true to it's name. If you see big gates and there are a lot of Stars on on it, then you are in the right place! Security if good here and they are friendly too!

Since this is a resort, they have available houses for you! From European to Asian themed houses that will cost you around 5,000php plus per night! Not to worry for the budget tight people, its not prerequisite to check-in if you want to avail their other services.

Other resort amenities includes the use of their Bars (@ poolside and ranch cottage), infinity pool, gym, function rooms, botanical gardens, nipa hut cottages and more!

Since they have a lot to offer, how much will it cost you to avail these? The use of the infinity pool for the entire day will cost you 200pesos/head, welcome drinks are given to all guest that will avail this! A cool mango juice is given to quench those thirsty mouth especially on summer hot days!

And if your bringing-in food, corkage fee is added to your bill around 300-500 pesos depending on the amount of food you brought-in! What's good about this is that you are not charged with the tables and chairs used near the pool and bar! Food here is also available in an affordable price! Ranges from 100-300pesos per meal.

If you prefer to use the Nippa Hut Cottages located downhill, additional charge is added to your bill (500 pesos). What's good here is that you'll have a little privacy and distant from other people who are crowding at the pool side! And you can do barbeques and grills if you want!

At night is totally different here! A cool breeze sounds and dimmed lighted atmosphere is perfectly set for stargazing!
Romantic lights are everywhere, the pool and pool-side are lighted coupled with relaxing bar music perfect for couples enjoying each others company!

Definitely a good place to spend over the weekends!
