...a greener getaway to Camp Anatolia!

Indeed its greener in Camp Anatolia. This newly open getaway pool stop is true to its tagline.

Just a month ago Camp Anatolia opened its door to the public and its creating a buzz to peaceful town of Midsayap, Cotabato. It has complete amenities and to name a few: two kiddie pools, an adult pool, a swimming competition pool, cafeteria, different cottages, function rooms, karaoke, and more.

What is best is not only the place but the affordability and perks of the camp. Its entrance fee will just cost you Php 25-50, you may ask for discounts if you're more than 20 person. Cottages rent ranges from Php 150-300, good for 6 to 15 people. They have a clean comfort and shower rooms, free of charge. Every pool has a life-guard on duty, complete with first-aid gadgets. They also offer life-jackets and other interesting toys such pool balloons, beach balls and water floating playthings for rent that ranges from Php 100-200 per day.

The camp also have function rooms. One fully airconditioned room on the first level and second floor is open air. They also have a cafeteria here that sell food and beverages at reasonable prices. Although, bringing in food and beverages in the camp cost minimal corkage.

Going to Camp Anatolia is very easy. From the town proper, you only need to take motor-tricycle or a habal-habal that will cost you Php 20.00. It will only take you 10-15 minute ride. 95% of the road is fully cemented going to the camp. You don't even have to worry if your going out late from the camp, some motor-tricycle accepts passengers late until 8:00 PM.

Another best thing about this camp is that it is just back of our house, hehehehe. Approximately 50 meters away, and of that you will surely passed-by our house before parking yourself in their entrance gate :)

In totality, it was surely been a green summer this year! thanks to Camp Anatolia.

The Hidden Beauty of Tinago Falls

When you're in Iligan City, do not forget to visit Tinago Falls. The city is known as the city of Majestic Water Falls. It host many beautiful water falls, to name a few Tinago Falls and of course Maria-Cristina Falls. Maria-Cristina Falls can be accessed along the highway, but if your thinking of dipping to cold waters and swim along the current, it is best to go to Tinago Falls.

Going to Tinago Falls, you'll have to go deeper within the city. Going there can be a bit tricky as it has few roads going to this hidden place. It is advisable to get a guide who know the intricate roads going to the water falls.

It used to have a resort and was maintained by the local government but it was not successful and later closed. Although, it is still accessible to all tourist to visit the said site. A small amount of entrance fee is expected, and affordable fee for the life-jacket is essential. You are not allowed to explore the falls without the safety measures enforced by the locals.

Going to the falls it self, you'll have to go down cemented stairs, although its not properly maintained, you'll have to be careful with few cracks and rock slide.

But once you reach the bottom, behold a beautiful enchanted place of Tinago Falls.

You'll enjoy the cool waters by swimming around the lagoon. You may even go reach and shower under the water fall. But you'll have to work and pull hard a rope going to the falls. Team work is needed and you'll have to have a strategy in pulling the rope to ease your way with the current. Reaching the other end of rope is such a fulfilling extacy.

Only few people go to this place, the main issues is on its accessibility. But its worth the trip, a satisfying experience to be with your family and friends and listen to flowing waters and enjoy every moment.
